Current Curriculum Vitae
Research Interests
I have great interests in computer vision and machine learning and their applications in Robotics and Smart Surveillance Systems. Recently, I have been working on Human Action Retrieval from Video. The main focus is in Local Invariant Space-Time Features integrated in Hierarchical Models. I am particulary interested in developing algorithm for action matching, using only one or few training sample. Together with other researchers in my group, we are developing a visual-based video search system aiming to replace current text-based video search engines.
